Wave Attacks
Set up
One 30x20m pitch per six players, a goal each end, bibs for defenders.
How it works
Three attackers against two defenders at one goal. Defenders who win the ball counter the other way.
- When the ball goes out, the next wave starts.
Scoring: One point per goal, either end.
Say this
Too easy?
Attackers pass twice before shooting.
Too hard?
Attack three against one.
Organising it
30 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: 2 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. With 20 kids: 3 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. Runs with one coach.
Missing gear? No goals → two cones make a two metre gate each end. No bibs → the two defenders play shirts off. No cones → bags or hall lines mark the sides.
