Chase Down
Set up
Per group: 18x10m lane, cone goal at the far end.
How it works
Attacker dribbles at the goal. Defender starts three metres behind and chases.
- Defender chases once the attacker touches the ball.
- Swap roles every run.
Scoring: Goal one point, steal one point.
Say this
Too easy?
Longer head start, wider lane.
Too hard?
Shorten the head start.
Organising it
16 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: 2 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. With 20 kids: 3 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. Runs with one coach.
No sliding tackles.
Missing gear? No cones → bags or shoes mark the lane and goal. Two balls per lane keeps the queue moving.
