Set up

One small pitch per eight players, four cone gates, two teams.

How it works

Score by taking the ball through any gate, from either side.

  • Keep playing after a goal.
  • Ball out: dribble it back in.

Scoring: One point per gate.

Say this

"Find the empty gate""Head up"

Too easy?

Dribble through to score.

Too hard?

Add one more gate.

Organising it

10 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: 2 groups of 3v3, 2 play as all-time attackers. With 20 kids: 2 groups of 5v5. Runs with one coach.

Missing gear? No cones → bags, shoes and bottles make the gates. No bibs → shirts tucked in against shirts out.
