min side

Set up

One 25x18m area, one goal each end, spare balls at the side.

How it works

Two teams fight over one ball, shooting at opposite goals.

  • Shoot inside the area only.
  • Ball dead? Grab a new one.

Scoring: Most goals in three minutes.

Say this

"Shoot early""Hit the corners""Follow it in"

Too easy?

Take one touch before shooting.

Too hard?

Serve closer to the goal.

Organising it

26 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: one group, 6 rotate in every minute. With 20 kids: 2 groups of 4v4, 4 rotate in every minute. Runs with one coach.

Nobody stands behind the goals.

Missing gear? No goals → two cones make a three metre gate each end. No bibs → shirts on / shirts off. Few balls → two helpers collect and return them fast.
