Defend the Castle
Set up
10x10m box. Two castles of three cones each.
How it works
Two attackers go at once, one castle each. Defenders guard. Knock cones over with the ball.
- Scorer becomes the defender.
- Next attacker goes when the ball leaves.
Scoring: One point per castle.
Say this
Too easy?
One cone per castle.
Too hard?
Bigger castle, attacker starts closer.
Organising it
10 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: 2 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. With 20 kids: 3 groups of 3v3, 2 rotate in every minute. Runs with one coach.
Shoulders only, no pushing or pulling.
Missing gear? No cones → bags or water bottles as the two castles. Few balls → attackers share and roll the ball back out.
