Set up

One 7x7m square and one ball per pair.

How it works

One player protects the ball. The other tries to touch it.

  • Keep the ball inside the square.
  • Swap roles every twenty seconds.
  • Touch the ball only, never the person.

Scoring: One point per ball touched.

Say this

"Body in the way""Little touches""Get close"

Too easy?

Two cats hunt one mouse.

Too hard?

Make the square bigger.

Organising it

7 m sided area per group. With 14 kids: 7 groups of 2. With 20 kids: 10 groups of 2. Runs with one coach.

No pushing in the corners.

Missing gear? No cones → bags, bottles or shoes mark the corners. Fewer balls → two pairs share one square, swap every twenty seconds.
