Attack the Big Goal

Set up

One full goal with a keeper. Cones mark a 35x25m zone.

How it works

One team attacks the goal. The other defends and scores by clearing the ball past the halfway cones.

  • Swap attackers and defenders every two minutes.
  • Ball out of the zone: keeper restarts.

Say this

"Shoot early""Attack the space"

Too easy?

Add a defender, shrink the zone.

Too hard?

Remove one defender.

Organising it

30 m sided area per group. With 20 kids: 2 groups of 5v5. Runs with one coach.

No shots from closer than two metres.

Missing gear? No full goal → two bags five metres apart, keeper still plays. No bibs → attackers shirts off, defenders shirts on. No cones → bags or the penalty box line mark the zone.
